Privacy Policy — Assurance Services
CPAs have been and continue to be bound by professional standards of confidentiality that are even more stringent than those required by law. Your privacy, our professional ethics and the ability to provide you with quality services are extremely important to us. Therefore, we have always and will continue to protect your right to privacy.

Parties to Whom We Disclose Information
For current and former clients, we do not disclose any non-public personal information obtained in the course of our practice, except as required or permitted by law. Permitted disclosures include providing information to our employees and, in very limited situations, to unrelated third parties who need to know that information to assist us in providing services to you; to participate in our mandatory peer review program as a member of the Audit Quality Center of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and to comply with federal, state or local laws — for example, in response to a summons or subpoena, or to your regulator’s request to review our work papers.

Use of Your Personal Information
Bernard A. Affetto & Co. collects and uses your personal information to provide the services you have requested. Affetto & Co., may also use your personally identifiable information to inform you of other products or services available from Bernard A. Affetto & Co. and our affiliates.

Bernard A. Affetto & Co. does not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. Bernard A. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to Bernard A. Affetto & Co., and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

Protecting the Confidentiality and Security of Current and Former Clients’ Information
We retain records and work papers, both hard copy and electronic, relating to professional services that we provide, so that we are better able to provide our services to you and to comply with our professional standards. In order to guard the non-public personal information of your customers or members, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with our professional standards.

Please contact Lewis Affetto if you have any questions concerning our privacy policy. Our professional ethics, the ability to provide you with quality services and protecting the privacy of our clients’ non-public personal financial information are very important to us.
